I am Jennifer Sawyer, and I provide counseling and consultation services.  I have years of experience in working with people and changing behavior.  I hope that you will find my site interesting and will come back often!

    The amazing thing about the work I do is that the results speak for themselves!  I have aided hundreds of clients in making positive changes in their lives.  I even went to a wedding once where the groom announced at the reception, "We wouldn't be here today if it were not for Jennifer!"  (And, yes, they are still together!)

     I have a beautiful porcelain cup which was presented to me by a wonderful client who said I had literally saved her life.  She had come to me in a severe depression, and we worked together to bring some joy back into her life.   I drink from that cup with joy, twenty years later!

     I'll never forget the family who came to counseling, debating what to do regarding their teenaged daughter's pregnancy...the tears, the prayers, the getting real with each other.  It was an intense time.  The outcome, beautiful.  The young lady recently graduated from college with experience and sacrifice that will impact her life forever.

     The family with the autistic son, the employee with a drug and alcohol problem, the couple on the verge of break-up, the family whose daughter was certain she was gay, the husband whose wife had a drinking problem, the flight attendant who could not fly after 9/11, the abused wife who needed integration in her identity, the family whose son was disillusioned with life, the executive whose child died a tragic death...

         I am proud of my work, and I know I have been a catalyst to impact lives of good folks who are faced with tough situations.   My method?  I do not preach.  I will sit down on the floor with you and help you untangle, manage, and eventually remove the obstacles in your way.
